Trading Company Specializing in Roofing Materials and Photovoltaic Power Generation (PV) Systems

Our company is a trading company specializing in the wholesale of various roofing materials such as tiles as well as in the wholesale of photovoltaic power generation (PV) systems. We have business relations with several hundred roofing work shops throughout Okayama prefecture, and we are maintaining the industry's top position within the prefecture. We can provide detailed information and suggestions to roofing work shops taking advantage of having plentiful products and expertise.

This is a website to make roofing work shops, who have little contact with general people, known to the public and to connect them with end-users. It is the first website in Japan to specialize in roofs, and is also a new business model for us. We visit roofing work shops one by one and talk with shop members in person about their thoughts and the work they are good at. It is a media that spreads not only in Okayama but throughout Japan.

Work of Sales Staff

In the roof construction portal website "Yaneiroha", we carry out interviews to roofing work shops nationwide and post articles on their thoughts and commitments for their work. Sales staff are widely involved in the website operation, ranging from the promotion work to sales activities, interviews, and post-interview support.

田中さん2 In promotion work, you will be responsible for planning of advertisement strategies for both roofing work shops and end-users. You will also be responsible for utilizing SNS and making arrangements with advertising medium companies. Our sales activity starts mainly with an introduction-based visit to roofing work shops nationwide. We will deepen the relationship with the roofing work shops through interviews, and will support the shops regularly in the use of the website.

As a first thing in the morning, we all clean up the office and hold a short meeting. Then, I confirm the schedule of the day, check the mail, prepare for the interview, and so on. Because I may sometimes make business trips to outside of Okayama prefecture, a detailed schedule planning is necessary to work efficiently. I leave the office after the preparation is done.

I talk to the shop members sincerely during the interview, and ask about their business, determination towards construction work, struggles, happy stories, and so on. This interview work will be the starting point to convey the attractiveness of the roofing work shop to end-users.

Because I studied in the faculty of literature in my university years, my first choice during job seeking was a job related to writing such as mass media. During the job seeking period, I worked for Shiragami Corporation as an intern student, and there I was involved in the operation of "Yaneiroha". The experience motivated me to join the company. I visited the actual roofing work shops, interviewed people and wrote articles of their thoughts. I feel responsibility and writing is not easy, but the interviewing site is full of surprise and inspiration. There is a relationship that can be established only after I learn the real thoughts of people I talk with, and I feel so happy when I find the distance between our customer and myself has come close. Although there are still many things that I don't know in interviewing, sales activities, promotion activities and support activities for use of the website, I feel that I have grown by gaining more skills through each practice. Shiragami Corporation offers an environment where you can try many things; so, our company is ideal for those who are willing to try new things.

I remember that I was excited when I first heard about the business of "Yaneiroha". I felt that the concept of the business could solve the problems many roofing work shops are facing today. "Yaneiroha" is not just a place to introduce roofing work shops to customers. Many reliable review assessments, and articles full of craftsmen's thoughts are posted. "Yaneiroha" has become a site where "real relationships" between customers and roofing work shops are built, which is essential for the shop to maintain their business in the future. I participated in the meeting as an intern student, and I learned many things including the strategy to realize Yaneiroha's aim systematically.

Since we are a trading company, we handle a wide range of products. Our own showroom as well as catalogs can provide you with opportunities to learn about the products by actually touching and observing them. We sometimes invite manufacturers who will give us the training on their products.

If you are in charge of sales, you can also learn specific skills from experts for sales and interviews as well as tips for public relations, etc. If you are in charge of delivery work, you will acquire skills to find needs of craftsmen and to make own proposals as a trading company.
