Trading Company Specializing in Roofing Materials and Photovoltaic Power Generation (PV) Systems

Our company is a trading company specializing in the wholesale of various roofing materials such as tiles as well as in the wholesale of photovoltaic power generation (PV) systems. We have business relations with several hundred roofing work shops throughout Okayama prefecture, and we are maintaining the industry's top position within the prefecture. "Yaneiroha" and “Kabeiroha”

These are websites to make roofing and setting-outer-wall work shops, who have little contact with general people, known to the public and to connect them with end-users. It is the first website in Japan to specialize in roofs and outer-walls, and is also a new business model for us. We visit roofing setting-outer-wall work shops one by one and talk with shop members in person about their thoughts and the work they are good at. It is a media that spreads not only in Okayama but throughout Japan.

Work of Sales Staff

In the roof construction portal website "Yaneiroha" and “Kabeiroha”, we carry out interviews to roofing and setting-outer-wall work shops nationwide and post articles on their thoughts and commitments for their work. Sales staff are widely involved in the website operation, ranging from the promotion work to sales activities, interviews, and post-interview support.

佐原さん2 In promotion work, you will be responsible for planning of advertisement strategies for both roofing and setting-outer-wall work shops and end-users. You will also be responsible for utilizing SNS and making arrangements with advertising medium companies. Our sales activity starts mainly with an introduction-based visit to roofing and setting-outer-wall work shops nationwide. We will deepen the relationship with the roofing and setting-outer-wall work shops through interviews, and will support the shops regularly in the use of the website.

As a first thing in the morning, we all clean up the office and hold a short meeting. Then, I confirm the schedule of the day, check the mail, prepare for the interview, and so on. Because I may sometimes make business trips to outside of Okayama prefecture, a detailed schedule planning is necessary to work efficiently. I leave the office after the preparation is done.

I talk to the shop members sincerely during the interview, and ask about their business, determination towards construction work, struggles, happy stories, and so on. This interview work will be the starting point to convey the attractiveness of the roofing work shop to end-users.

After working for a mechanical design and construction management company for piping equipment, I joined Shiragami Corporaiton. I decided to apply because I was able to acquire the knowledge of sales and the web that I was originally interested in, and that Shiragami Corporaiton's web business was a venture business, so I could have various experiences. When I actually work, there are things that I couldn't experience in my previous job almost every day, and I feel that I am growing more and more. There are a lot of things to do such as sales, interviews, and promotion activities, so it can be difficult, but I am attracted to the fact that there are many opportunities to touch new things and that it is rewarding. When I'm busy, I sometimes work overtime, but if I have a plan, I can go home early, and there is no atmosphere that makes it difficult to return, so I think it's attractive to be able to work with a sharp touch. It's an environment where you can try various things, so I think it is perfect for those who want to try new things!
